Let me introduce myself

My name is Myrlande Julien and I am a shy, sarcastic, socially awkward ambivert who loves to create bold and beautiful designs. My love for fashion started a very long time ago as a young girl in primary school. What started out as an obsession with making doll clothes- that lasted way too long as far as my family was concerned- turned into what I am today: a fashion designer.

For many years, I struggled with owning who I am and my place in the fashion industry; so much so that I had contemplated leaving it for a good. After going back and forth for a while, I decided to take a semi-sabbatical from the industry for a year. In that time, I have really reconnected with my love for fashion, and discovered my design voice. So now here I am, ready for wherever this journey leads.

I am starting this blog to give people a view into my mind, my life and my journey as a fashion designer. I will be sharing my highs (may they be many) and my lows (may they be few) my thoughts and my inspirations. If there is anything you would like to know about me, don’t be afraid to ask!
